Questions of the week - 1º ESO

What is haggis?

Haggis is one of Scotland's most famous national dishes and consists of a round, large sausage that comes from the lungs, heart and liver of a sheep.

This mixture is seasoned with cayenne pepper and onion, among other things.
Once this has all been done, the mixture goes into a sheep's stomach in which it is boiled.
Mashed potatoes and turnips are the customary sides for haggis

Which countries does the queen Elizabeth II rule?

United Kingdom, Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, the Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Canada, Grenada, Jamaica, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the Solomon Islands and Tuvalu.

These 16 nations in The Commonwealth share Queen Elizabeth II as their Head of State, although each of these nations are governed separately.

Welcome back!

Holidays are over, but I'm sure this is going to be a new exciting school year!

I'm so glad to be your English teacher and I hope we enjoy and learn a lot together.

As you can see, the name of this blog is a variation of the famous slogan "Keep calm and carry on" which I'm sure you've seen everywhere! However, do you know the real meaning of this quote? When and why was it created?

I'm waiting for your answers!
